The
ICL
Perq is an early example of a single user workstation machine.
It has a monochrome bit-mapped screen in portrait orientation.
The built-in hard disk is a 14" diameter type with mains motor and belt drive.
Underneath the keyboard there is a seven-segment
LED display that shows
the machine's progress through the stages of booting up.
